St. Luke is the patron saint of artists. You'll often see him in paintings making a drawing or painting of the Virgin and Child. As my lovely wife reminded me, when I started my first home studio it was on the top floor of our house - the attic.

So I started a new drawing book. Here are the first few entries and I'm pretty satisfied with them (I plan on doing some watercolor on the triceratops). It's a pocket-sized Moleskine book; and has proven very portable. We'll see.

Demo. This was an in-class demo on drawing from dark to light.
Ficus and Katydid. This is a woodcut I did six or so years ago. I have been working on my photoshop skills - and, well, here you go. The linework is woodcut and the rest is photoshop.
